Health Seriously

0 Ares Connect: Go Against Your Instincts

admin to Ares

If you are one of the many people troubled by the apparent reluctance of your Ares client to connect to the network, then you are not alone. We’re having T-shirts made.

You may also come across some reviews of some software called Ares Connect. The reviews are almost exclusively positive, and it seems to solve the problem that we’re all having. If you’re anything like me though, you’ll be the reluctant to put unknown software onto your system.

This was my attitude until a week ago. The fact is sometimes you just have to ignore your instincts and go with the facts at hand. The facts in this case were that 1) I a problem, and 2) that there seemed to be a solution in the form of Ares Connect.

I ignored my inner Demons and downloaded and installed Ares Connect.

My computer is full of antivirus and anti-spyware software, and it monitors my system pretty closely. If there was anything nasty going on with Ares Connect then I would know about it; I’m pleased to say everything a clean bill of health, and the installation seems to have gone smoothly.

Does it work? Hell yes!

I’m just kicking myself now because I took so long to decide to take the plunge. If you are currently sat on the fence deciding whether to try Ares Connect or not, then let me help you: do it. That is all.
